Growing Spaces is a generic term not only for green spaces but any space. We pride ourselves on providing quality solutions, when others deem it too hard. We aspire to become the ‘Go To’ green space experts nationwide. Our combined experience and fresh approach will enable us to achieve this. There are no limitations to what we can provide for our clients, we are constructors who think like designers with both national and international experience.

From large-scale civil work to commercial and multi-residential projects, vertical gardens, playgrounds, play centres, open space and recreational facilities, Growing Spaces are the external works specialists!

We have the available resources to complete multiple projects concurrently throughout New Zealand.

Meet Barry Locke

Established by Barry and Rachel Locke in 2018. The Growing Spaces business encompasses family values and has a combined experience of over 40 years within the industry, there isn’t much we cant do. We pride ourselves in keeping up to date with the latest technology and industry training programs.

Our decision to add the Māori translation to “Growing Spaces” was a decision not made lightly, but a decision we felt was necessary. We wanted to represent all of our heritages and cultures, especially the diverse cultures present within the Growing Spaces team. We believe it is important to acknowledge the land our heritage and our ancestors.

– Aotearoa matters.

Let's talk about your space... great projects start with good communication.
